Biomass Pyrolysis Project
Challenge
SurgiTech FabWorks was asked by a client to design and build an R&D skid to evaluate different catalysts, biomass types, temperatures, gas rates and other variables. The design that we came up with is a very simple, low pressure design which is able to convert biomass to diesel, kerosene and gasoline using a small batch process. The unit can be used for dried and sized, organic materials such as sawdust, hemp, cannabis, grasses, ...
